Loaded Baked Potato
- Idaho Baking Potato
- Olive Oil
- Kosher Salt
- Butter
- Sour Cream
- Broccoli
- Nacho Cheese
- Bacon
1 – Wash and scrub potatoes clean of dirt
2 – Using a large fork, stab each potato three times along the four lengths of the potato
3 – In a large bowl, rub olive oil and kosher salt on the potato
4 – Cook potatoes for one hour at 390 degrees, I like to cook them directly on the oven rack with a lined cooking sheet underneath to catch any drippings.
5 – While potato is baking, cook the bacon. Place cooked bacon on a napkin lined plate or bowl to allow to drain and cool. Once bacon is cooled enough, chop into pieces
6 – In a steamer pot, steam the broccoli for one-two minutes or until it turns vivid green in color.
7 – In a sauce pan, heat up the nacho cheese while adding a tablespoon or two of milk to thin the cheese out.
8 – Once potato is done cooking remove from oven and on a cutting board. Using a knife cut into the potato along its length and using your hands squeeze the potato together along its length to open it up for the fixings. USE EXTREME CAUTION, the potato will be hotter than hell.
9 – add butter, sour cream and all the fixings you want and enjoy.
