Feral House Cat

Felis catus

In 2017 a cat classification taskforce officially changed the name from Felis domesticus to Felis catus

This was an interesting find. The one and only time I have evidence of a feral domesticated animal and it was a pitch black cat that appeared the day after heavy snow. From the first tow pictures I saw of it, I thought the snow was affecting the camera and making a negative of what ever the animal was.
