Southern California Skunk

There are 13 subspecies of striped skunk of which only the Southern California Skunk can be found in our area.
Annoying personal fact
Unfortunately there is what feels like a colony of skunks living near my in-laws and once a month my dog “captures” a skunk and stinks of skunk for a week or more. It is no fun having him in the car during that time.
