Bobcat

Lynx rufus fasciatus

Currently, there are only two Subspecies of Bobcat, Lynx rufus rufus– east of the great plains, Lynx rufus fasciatus – west of the great plains. The bob cat is found through out the contiguous united states

Although the camera in which the bobcat has been detected has been in the same location for the last three years, it has only recently, as of October 2025, made its presence known. For this reason I believe that it is a lone specimen in the area.
